File this short and sweet post under “Random Friday Thoughts” and brought to you by a couple of discussions I’ve had today with librarian friends.
Let’s all practice these three rules today (and always if you can.)
- Everyone has their baggage, their stuff they carry around, don’t judge, just listen and be kind.
- There is so much hate in the world that I would really love it if our librarians could be the place of knowledge and kindness. Let’s use our powers for good.
- So many people have loss and sadness in their lives and the holidays can be really hard, they could use some extra kindness.
I leave you with those three thoughts before our next post where we closely examine ourselves and think about how we succeeded and failed at this year’s goals before we make new ones. (I will need extra kindness to self thinking about that post.)
