(AOF) – Grégoire Vuarlot, director of the control of commercial practices of the ACPR, succeeds Claire Castanet, director of relations with savers and their protection at the Autorité des marchés financiers, as coordinator of the Common Pole for the two authorities of the July 1, 2022 until June 30, 2024. Grégoire Vuarlot, 49, has been Director of Commercial Practices Control at the ACPR since 2021.
After a stint in the General Inspectorate, he notably worked at the Bank of England and held the position of head of a banking supervision service then deputy director of specialized and cross-cutting controls in insurance at the ACPR.
From 2016 to 2021, he was head of on-site banking and insurance supervision for the ACPR and the ECB. He also led a mediation activity in credit insurance following the first confinement.
