The Tesla Model 3 sells better in Europe than thermal cars

According to research firm Jato, the reasons for this success are as follows: “The strong performance of the Model 3 is partly explained by the intensive increase in sales of Tesla at the end of the quarter. September has always been a strong month for the American manufacturer’s registrations results in Europe, accounting for an average of 68% of its third-quarter deliveries since 2018. Last month, registrations accounted for 74% of third-quarter volume.

Thus, the market share over this period represents 2.6% of car sales for the Model 3. And that is a double victory for Tesla’s electric car : not only is this the first time that an electric vehicle has climbed to the top position, but it is also the first vehicle manufactured outside Europe to dominate the European market.
