Tesla is so proud of its new Berlin factory that the brand even lets drones roam inside. And it gives us very impressive images.
Tesla has just opened its new gigafactory in Berlin, a highly strategic factory for the Californian manufacturer: it will no longer be necessary to import vehicles from the United States or China for European customers. This factory has already delivered the first models to customers on the Old Continent, Model Ys, some of which have been sent to France.
Typically, automakers are reluctant to let cameras into their factories for fear of leaking sensitive information about their organization or technology. But obviously not at Tesla, as you can see in this very impressive video filmed by a drone that wanders around the company’s premises.
A sports visit
The large sequence shot first shows the exterior car parks of the factory, then the interior with a spectacular crossing of the premises. As a reminder, the factory currently only produces Model Y SUVs for the European market.
